For the price, quality and ease of install these are one of the best mini-mods you can add to your Taco. Total install time was under 10 minutes. The difference in the seat position is quite dramatic. I really feel safer and more comfortable. You can see over most of the other cars around and the added inch and half provide enough extra high to where you can bend you knees that little extra bit to keep yourself comfortable. The additional MOLLE panel is a bit small, but definitely big enough for a flashlight or additional first aid kit. These ship bare aluminum but it's polished to a nice shine. I think they look pretty snazzy but some people prefer them painted. If you are looking for spacers to raise your seat- this is the one to get.When these arrived, one of the stems on the seat spacers was loose and I could wiggle it back and forth. I reached out to the supplier and explained my issue. they were more than understanding and accommodating. They said they would send a replacement and they did. I received the replacement faster than the original order. The seats are lifted and feel great. Thank You!!These took about 5 mins to install, perfect fit to OEM specs.Of course, there is an immediate difference in seat positioning, once I found the right "new" spot, I knew I spent my money the right way.Im 6'4", and the Tacoma seat doesnt quite go back far enough for me to extend my legs fully, but with the incline change, I can! And no more pressure on the backs of my legs and knees!Used on 2020 Tacoma. Illustration indicated factory bolt placement in rear bracket/spacer hole through seat rail and bolt included with bracket through bracket into floor HOWEVER in my Tacoma the OEM bolt is tapered and threads slightly differently and bound up in the bracket threads. So rather than stripping the aluminum bracket or bracket bolt by forcing it, I suggest you use the OEM bolt in front hole, through the bracket and into the floor. (Or at least hold your OEM bolt and the bracket bolt side by side to determine interchangeability.) Use the bolt included with the spacer through the seat rail and into the bracket/spacer. My method of installation was to remove both front seat rail bolts, pivot the seat back far enough to slide rail pins and bracket floor pins into position, install bracket to floor with OEM bolts, sit on seat to align rail to bracket, and bolt in using the bolts supplied with brackets. There was not enough clearance to us a socket wrench on floor bolts if you attach rails to brackets first, at least was the case on my Tacoma. There were no instructions included with my product. The final installation resulted in a better feeling seat for both myself and my tall husband. The rails still function for seat adjustment. And it does not raise seat too high the get in and out and for steering wheel clearance.Quick and easy installPretty sure it’s the same as the name brand just without the black paint.Read the instructions once, got tools ready and finished it in about 10 minutesLegs are a little close to the steering wheel but overall comfort is greatReal quick the comfort was noticeable. My thighs make contact with the steering wheel sometimes when getting in or out, but that makes sense as the front end of the seat is more elevated. Also I have girthy thighs. I like the angle it creates allowing for my back to rest more against the back of the seat.I’ve owned my SUV for 11 years and I haven’t had any knee issues prior to adding these spacers. I was taking my SUV on an 18 hour trip and I wanted to play it safe. The tilting of the seat aggravated my back initially, but it ended up being fine. Provides more leg room.There is another manufacturer that offers the same product. The only difference is this one comes in bare metal and the other one is in black. I just went ahead and painted it with some black spray paint I had.Overall the installation took me about 10 -15 minutes to do. The installation is extremely easy and it does not take much thought process. If you get the back lifts too, it opens the opportunity to vacuum under your seat.I did feel the difference in the way I sat in the car seat. The lifts gave the seat more of a bucket feel than stock. Overall I am happy with the purchase & I am glad I did it.
