so, in order to STOP going thru auto parts store seat covers, paper-thin and lasting about a year at max before they begin to disintegrate, I decided, based on customer reviews, to order a set of these for my '87 VW Cabriolet .....VERY HAPPY that I did, great product !!! ...... look & feel to be strong & sewn well, thick fabric but of course, you will have to find your best way to secure them tightly, which in my case, did not involve any of the included hardware / clips ....I simply removed each seat, got the covers properly pulled onto each seat & aligned, then flipped the seats over and pulled the retaining ties tight under & thru the seat bottom rails to secure them super tight ....they look great, they feel great, they are not loose in any way, and seem like they will take a long time to break down / rip / tear / disintegrate .....HIGHLY RECOMMEND these seat covers, exceptional bang for the buck !!!
