I have only a 125-cc scooter, so I wasn't looking for a full-face helmet. Just something comfortable and providing a modicum of safety while tooling around town. This meets all criteria very well.It is comfortable and light-weight, goes on and off easily, and the white color (which is unbelievably rare) means that it won't bake your brain in the summer. The eye-shields naturally protect your eyes from bugs and rocks, but the shields have one other added benefit. Anyone who has used a half helmet will tell you that as your speed gets up to 50 mph and higher, the helmet tends to become a parachute dragging your head backward and applying choking pressure on your neck with the chin strap.The eye shields greatly decrease this tendency, but nothing can overcome this effect at 70+ mph. If you plan to do a lot of freeway/highway riding, you will almost certainly be better served by a full-faced helmet. They also (obviously) provide more protection in case of a high-speed crash. For lower speeds, this is perfect.
